Mechanic at a track meet

HI.
Can you see much interest in having a mechanic at a track meet(outside).
Also if there was one what spares/stock would you expect/like them to have

There's not much to go wrong on a track bike. And those who ride them are invariably pretty experienced cyclists who do all their own spannering.

I bet most of the people I know who ride track carry more than enough spares to stock a shop. I would think you may not have come across the golden eagle with this idea.

I've been to a few indoor track meets and as has been mentioned above most people are carrying loads of spare chainring, sprockets spanners etc. Also everyone seems to know each other so if you do forget anything there is always the option to borrow.

The only things I have seen to halt riders tend to be catastrophic frame or wheel failures. Even then, lots of these track folk seem to have 2 or more bikes!
