Tail End Charlie

Well, write it down boy ......
I have several merino tops, they are very good and can be worn for a few days at a time without smelling (useful when touring).
Best ones are from finisterre uk, they're designed for surfers, but are a very fine blend, extremely comfortable. About £60 but sometimes in a sale. I get one as a birthday present to myself.
Planet X ones are much thicker and a lot more itchy, about £20.
Aldi ones are quite fine, about £18. Very good at this price.
Decathlon have a V neck, which isn't great in winter, but are fine and I got them in a sale at £10 each.

One thing, whichever you get, is be careful washing. Do not use fabric conditioner and a gentle wash is best, but the occasional wash with other stuff is Ok (but still no conditioner).
