That reminds me of a post easily 10 years ago. Someone here's post appeared almost apoplectic with rage against a well known cycle retailer who had messed his order up...fair enough you think. At some stage I asked 'when was this?'
It turned out it was some serious time before, maybe years ?
I seem to remember answering..
'I couldn't be that angry x years later if they'd took a dump in my parcel, let alone 'just' messed up my order'

About 30+ years ago, I was leaving a pub, and wanted to take some tonic water home. I asked for "two bottles of tonic, with the tops on". They gave me two bottles with the tops off and I had to take open bottles home.

I'm still seething.

Still off topic. This is the meta-moaning thread, not the moaning thread. If you just want to moan, start a moaning thread, then over here we can moan about your moaning.

How hard can it be to moan on the right thread? Bloody moaners these days, they're absolutely useless.

My partner says I moan a lot. Which is probably true. I sometimes do it for comedy value but some of it is a natural talent. I think it's a valuable pastime that maintains a good state of mental health
