I prefer to call it an unplanned thinning forcing me to assess a career change, perhaps as a monk.
It was just a stab in the dark prompted by your eyebrow comment, odd how the hair we lose from our heads gets distributed over the rest of our bodies.

the observation game of Hair or Hairpiece? is one I discovered the first time I went to the USA... the lovely guy who gave us the tour around the Martin guitar factory sported a hairpiece made with fibres similar to those found on a stiff brush. I found it quite perplexing.

That's unfair to Donald; his is not a wig but a very cleverly cut comb-over. You can see the edges around his hairline and no wig would lift revealing bare scalp in that way.
