I wouldn't normally entertain such tomfoolery, but needs must, as in the office armed with only eggs and a microwave.

Surprisingly decent, cooked in a mug of water (one mug per egg, or one egg per mug, whichever suits) prodded the yolk with the corkscrew end to prevent explosion.

I watched a YouTube of that. I 'think' it said do it for 6 minutes.

Two months ago, at the place I volunteer, I was peering into one of our two side by side microwaves to check that someone's cup of hot milk wasn't boiling over when the oven to my left exploded.

The door blew open and I was covered in 'stuff'. I absolutely shat myself, jumped back, and everyone else let out a collective scream.

Some eejit had put two eggs, in their shells, in the oven.

It took ages to clean up the mess.

I really thought it had been an electrical explosion.
