I am your Father
Hi all.
Steve from Greater Manchester here.
Just returned from my hiatus of none pedalling for near 20 years.
Last time I rode (roadie) bikes I had a blue peugot 'tour de france' (or so the decals said) # weighsatonne.
Anyone remember them ?
It had shifters on the down tubes & it was always Pot Luck they would shift at all.
Now I can't get enough (bike action) & have invested in a gorgeous Sintesi z2 after not really using my Giant Defy much.
Not bragging at all but I now have my eye on bike N°2 - a sweet alloy 2014 Cube, which I hope to fund through C2W scheme next year.
I have to say that since I returned to 'pedalling squares' - I have been amazed at the friendliness of the cycling community.
Over all, the people are what makes cycling IMO & in the main are a very helpful, pleasent bunch.
So that is me.
Hope to exchange views & pick your brains soon.
SteCenturion.
