On my 10 mile commute into work I am passed yet again by one senior male wearing full Saxo Bank kit...personally I would never wear full "team" kit on my bike...I think I would look a bit of a prat^_^ It's not so bad when I see younger riders all "teamed" up...but in your 40's and 50's...get a life..or get a kit..I personally prefer to wear cycle gear without all that advertising.....am I a sad old git..or a quiet unassuming cyclist....

I dont carewhat people wear tbh.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I have a couple of 'team' shirts, but don't really care what I wear. If someone wants to go in full team kit that's fine with me. If they clash badly, then they just come across as silly/confused.

Oh, and if someone's in team kit they're fair game for some SCR

As I said in another thread - being judgmental is not a nice trait, more so for something that is clearly not offensive.

I am sure we all get judged by a certain amount of the populace for just riding a bike to work and/or wearing lycra.

Here endeth the lesson.

Now in my fifties and couldn't give a flying one what others think.
I wear what like and can afford.
I get a lot of end of line or last years kit from Start cycles at a qtr of its original price and I wear it with pride.
If I get overtaken, fine, if I overtake fine.

Just googled that - will keep an eye on the tops.

+1 for the wear what you want types!

Oddly enough, if I see an old guy in team kit I think 'good for him'

personally, I don't intend to get old without a fight either!!

Plenty of people of all ages wear football strip. I guess cycling team stuff is the same.
I never understood "branding" though. Live and let live, as the sage above stated.
