I tend to recognise the full team Sky kits and i figure theyre just following pro cycling and supporting their team, usually too fast for me to race - although i think one of the real Team Sky guys is from MK.
I'm beyond being politically correct enough to pretend not to be judgmental. I don't wear spandex or any team colours because I think they make cyclists look like twats (even the ones who actually race). But if people want to look like twats, that's their prerogative. As for getting old, I don't intend to do it without a fight either, but I think I can probably do it without looking like a twat or acting like a poseur.
I don't think wearing cycling specific attire constitutes anyone as being a "twat".
As far as wearing team kit that's upto the individual, but if I did I would have to put some extra effort in, as I would feel compelled to be travelling with some speed.
PS. Long as it keeps there crack covered i don't care. Jeez i have never pedaled so hard to over take someone in all my life.
The thought of it still makes me shiver, it was horrible. It looked like a tarantula trying to escape from between two buns
