Went out this morning, Radcliffe to Edenfield and returned via Ramsbottom, 19.04 miles.
Noteworthy only as it put my year to date total up to 2003.19 miles.

Very pleased with myself, highlights include my first 100K, cycling in Tuscany and the Lakes and Dales Loop.

Looking forward to The Bay Cycle Way in March and a week in Mallorca in April.

Thanks to all on here for the encouragement I have received

Thanks for the kind words, perhaps in mid summer a long day in the saddle may be possible but the route would have to be flatish. Not easy around these parts.

Puzzle game procrastinator!
Well done!

Have you tackled 'The Rake' yet?

I have only ridden up it once. Even with mountain bike low gears it was tough. I went to watch the National Hill Climb Championship there in 1999 - that was good sadistic fun! Some of the riders were riding fixed gear and had underestimated the severity of the gradient ...

We're you not tempted to just hold on to the bus? :becool:

Well done! I don't measure the miles I've ridden, but can say with some confidence, you beat me!
Happy cycling.

No ambitions at all for the Rake. Heart attack by bike for a man of my age.
Plus, no café at the top.
