Anyone know what they did/are doing with the bikes afterwards? It would be a shame if they took them home to rust in their back gardens!

I watched the Helen Skelton 2000 mile canoe along the amazon yesterday and that was a truly remarkable feat , 60 miles a day for 6 weeks. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8541832.stm

Would Joe public have watched it ... sponsored them to the same tune if it was random non cyclists. I would assume the kit is donated for free.

Perhaps they should aution them off to raise more money... what would you pay for the bike that Ferne had sat on Unfortunately it looks too small for most of the people on here.

The trouble is - on average, most of the bikes were crashed about once an hour!
