Or a Makowiec - a yeasted cake which is filled with poppy seed, honey and dried fruits.
Found a recipe for that. How do you pronounce it?

Not a big fan of it tbh, Mrs C likes it though, but she hates Mince Pies so clearly has poor taste.
That said, there's also a sponge cake type version where the poppy seed is mixed into the cake, and the whole is flavoured and iced with lemon. It's very nice.Found a recipe for that. How do you pronounce it?
