Like indicators, it's been done before, integrated with both glasses and helmets. Like indicators, no one bought them.

Even if they were any use I'd be wary of the average cyclist using them. the average motorist uses mirrors - if they do at all - as a substitute for looking properly. Human nature being what it is cyclists will do the same, but the stakes for a cyclist when it all goes breasts skyward are rather higher.

It's not a new concept. I rode once with a guy using a little mirror mounted on his helmet that was effectively in a similar position to the ones in the glasses here.

He said it was really good and suited him, so who am I to argue? A bit niche but a good product it would seem.

As to the actual glasses, meh. They might work, perhaps. I use a bar mounted mirror for general awareness, but I still shoulder check before any manoeuvre.

Eugh, solution looking for a problem. The last thing I want is something screwing with my peripheral vision like that will, super easy for a pedestrian to do something stupid in your new blind spot.

Excellent idea, they'll match my 16 boxes of bicycle indicators for usefulness
