If the Jamaicans can field a bobsleigh team, why can't the Saudis field a speed skating team? A little refinement of their techniques e.g. cornering might be called for but their straight line speed show promise.....

Me too, but I think my anxiety is a product of being a Mum to a precious only child! Danger everywhere I look!

I have a friend (Syrian) that lives in Saudi. They seem somewhat mad TBH honest. He tells tails of people drifting cars, changing tyres while the car is on two wheels and other fun things to do.

He puts it down to many things, but a lack of alcohol, too much money, nothing to do, and the stupid heat among others.

Women are not allowed to drive. He linked a vid from a Saudi Health minister who also happens to be a cleric. The minister stated that driving a car can affect hips and ovarys.
He sent a picture of their UK style traffic lights where the hoods had melted in the heat. I'll have to dig it out.

Not to mention that although he was born in Saudi he cannot hold Saudi citizenship, but citizenship from his parents country.
