He puts it down to many things, but a lack of alcohol, too much money, nothing to do, and the stupid heat among others.

The entire middle east has a massive problem with bored youths with too much money and no job prospects.
They cant take entry level jobs because the Indians and Asians do them for almost zero pay. They cant take skilled work because they dont have the skills, so they just do nothing all day.
Alcohol isnt a problem but drug abuse is more common than people think.
