I think you'll find that it is indeed your word, young man.
but I didn't say it.
yet i'm being chastised for thinking it.
Maybe I'll just say it next time if I'm going to be chastised for it anyway.

Sittingduck said:Untrue.
I had a couple of epileptic fits in my teenage years and I couldn't take a driving test until I was so many years fit free (I've forgotten the exact number) but once I passed my test I was allowed to drive and touch wood over 12years later I've never had another fit.bonj said:well, someone who's epileptic can pass the test but they aren't allowed to drive.

User3143 said:It's not, and people with epilepsy are allowed to drive. They have to go for 12 months without having a fit.

well then they haven't got epilepsy then have they!
if they go 12 months without having a fit they've obviously cured themselves.

bonj said:It has to be said I once saw someone having an epileptic fit, not nice. Although I don't think the cause of said fit was because they had epilepsy.
Arch said:So it wasn't an epileptic fit then. Nice contradicting yourself there...
And of course, you'd be the expert on epilepsy, just as you are on everything else...
Angelfishsolo said:ERRR NO!!!! An attack can theoretically occur at any time and after any time period. It is unfair to penalise somebody who has been attack free for 12+ months however as there is probably an equal chance of a 'overweight, burger munching driver' having a heart attack.
