Epilepsy is not a disease; we are all capable of having a fit its down to people thresholds (some peoples unfortunately are lower than others) and triggers. Going back a while now you just have to remember that Japanese cartoon that triggered fits in loads of kids.

''has repetitive behaviour and some difficulties with social interaction.''

Looks like the lad will fit right in with the cycling community then.

My mrs used to tutor a lad who had a mild form of Aspergers. He passed his driving test first time after practically committing to memory the "Highway Code". He wants to be a driving examiner.
People with Aspergers Syndrome tend to be very focused on what takes their interest and as a result are very exact about things they do.
I bet anyone who he passes a test with him in the car will have to be bloody good!!

My examiner was nick named the "smiling assassin" by local driving instructors. As I was on the way to the test centre I was asking my instructor if he knew about this and he said he did, she's the one women there. As examiners start to come in, low and behold I hear a lady asking for "Thomas?"

She was known as that as she is very friendly, chatty and smiley, and then fails you ...she was a very nice lady and I passed first time, so her nick name was only half right for me :bicycle:...I knew someone who she failed 6 times.

After passing first time with her I ignored people when they started blaming everyone else for why they failed their driving test.

Good for him. Lets be honest, how many of us would like to forget everything else and jump on our bikes and cycle 600 miles in one direction.

Ok, so are you saying that Fat people should not be able to drive?

if they're fat enough to risk having a hart attack, yes.

How ignorant does a driver have to be before he/she/bonj is banned from driving?

that's like asking how ignorant do you have to be before you are banned, full stop - never mind from driving
