Well got a few groans so here goes.

1) just seen a lorry with large skip on the back go through fully red light while on mobile phone. didnt get company name or phone number. der

2) Twaterday. (look out for video named that later lol). The ride in was full of prats, dably loaded MBs in ASL's, RLJ's in cars and bikes but somehow they can stop when there is a police car infront! funny that. Merc' driver on phone and driving into and over the ASL. Camera ran out of juice 20mins into ride so wont have much on camera.

3) weather is going to get bloody cold according to Sky.

4) National no ASL (Advanced Stop Lines) day:

can't think of anything else which has happened apart from bogged under with work as christmas fast approaching!

I can't see youtube at the moment, I'm at work. I don't mind so much the person who gets caught in an ASL when the lights change to red rather than RLJ but what irks me is the people who casually advance into it, its usually black cabs or dare I say BMW's round here and occaisionally a MB.

yes if they get caught in it, then i guess its kinda ok in the sense that london is busy and you have to try and get across a junction otherwise you will be there all day. I think most of the clips show people driving into them. Not sure what rush hour is like in Edinburgh. Was up at Easter though and other half comes from there.

I must admit I don't really care about other vehicles in the ASL. I'm much more concerned about speeding, mobile phone use, and RLJing.

yes there are def more important concerns out there. I do think that if you give people an inch they will take a mile. so to not say anything about ASL'ers leads them to think they can use phones and go through red lights as there is no one about to "do them". Which in many case there is no police about hence why they do it.

def more police. Not sure if the size of the force has increased inline with population. I doubt it. I can see things getting a whole lot worse (crime-wise in general).

With reference the lorry and skip. I saw a lorry and skip this year tearing down a road and the chains that were supposed to secure it all in place were swinging around like a set of maces.

I had a good look at the vehicle when it was stuck in traffic (I was on foot) but couldnt see a plate anywhere. Makes me wonder if they are exempt from plates in some way? Or if it was put in a different position..

teh courior who was all over the place, zooming in and out of traffic, in and out of the cycle lane with unbalanced parcels on the back had the strap half over the plate "securing" the parcels in place.

Sounds well dangerous. if that hit you, you'd def know it!

Ministry plate or registration plate? If the latter, probably low at the back and covered in muck, or ripped off by accident. If the former, in the cab.
