Early rise to take puppy out before we become toast.
Order last bits, pack later.

Morning

From sub-tropical Jockland. Damp but very muggy. 'Close' in the Vernacular.
Fish in a pond in London?!
That must be a plastic Heron.

Chores and stuff then stuff.
First: coffee

Taking a week out to do some exploring.

So far I've got a train ticket to Gourock in about an hour's time and a ferry ticket later in the week from Jura to Tayvallich. Other than that, it's a blank canvas.

To my detriment, the coffee I'm taking will be instant. Premium instant though.

...

whitestone pond, at the summit of london, where the adjacent flagstaff flies the flag of the city

i suspect the fish were liberated from more domestic waters, some are quite big now, have to hope they survive the hot weather

in þe olde days it was used to water and cool off horses, more recently the military disturbed the tranquility of the pond

Some horses go in a river and a shed load of onlookers show up.
City folk.

Anyhoo, Beans and I had a wonderful mid summer adventure. Far more exciting than that ^.

Grey and spotting with rain here in Fife. The forecast says there more rain to come so that’s going limit todays activities.

Morning from a sun scorched midlands. WFW as usual, hoping for and early bail before it gets to hot. See PM has finally succumbed and done as Daddy Donald has bid him to do. Hopefully his replacement will be better otherwise the labour may be toast for a few years.

WFH as I'd prefer to enjoy the office air con tomorrow when it'll be needed (also headed out for steak 'n' vino tomorrow in town). Quite pleasant here atm with the cave door and windows open.
