Last of the guests have gone (after considerable worry about the last two missing a crucial connection to get to Lyon St Exupéry - but all was well in the end), and I've got a massive pile of laundry to do by hand (as I've not got a washing machine here, normally I ask guests to bring bedding and towels, but the last lot were an excepted).

The weather is spiffing, so I'll get the laundry out asap, probably laze till lunch, then get out on the bike this afternoon. The weather's on the change this week, so it'll be a case of picking times carefully for rides & walks. A bit over two weeks to go before the return to Blighty.

Morning peeps. Quiet day today as grandson's packed off home and bombsite cleared. Guy coming around to price up new bathroom and check some work they've just finished before scaffolding comes down. Starting to tart the place up ready to put on the market in the spring. Currently full sun outside so off on bike once he's been. Currently very quiet as everyone at work except me and the mutt.

Good bank holiday lie in has been had. Unfortunately a trip to the garden centre is needed before the garden project moves on to the next stage - so I have have been informed. After that, tip trip then bike ride.

I haven't quite got to the stage of paying for my food by taking photos of it, but it's a start...

Just passed the 500k views for a rolling 28 days, so ought to start saving up for the next photographic purchase, to make sure I don't make a profit.

Interestingly, @PurplePenguin, the videos don't make much, as they count as single views, but large albums of stills seem to make the most, as I guess each photo view/click/interaction gives FB the chance to spam followers with adverts.

Why are you moving and where are you going?

We'll be downsizing and going for a bungalow, 4 bedrooms and 3 floors isn't required anymore. Only me the OH and not so young oxo, so 4 bedrooms not required. TBH a multi car drive and decent size garage are on the list. Still sticking to current locality as OH doesn't drive. No rush as such, just trying to future proof while its relatively easy and we're able to.
