Pour quoi? Every time I go on FB I end up blocking more and more people/groups. The weekends bring out a special kind of idiot. Can't be dealing with them and their inanity. My feed it looking decidedly sparse now.

Some unspecified infraction against 'community standards': the onscreen message tells me that my appeal is being considered, but that if it fails there's no further appeal, and that'll be that, both on the personal page (c.900 friends and thousands of photos from 18 years), and the French photo page (5.8k followers, up to 500k monthly visitors, and a small income). Life would carry on, but it would be annoying, to say the least, having worked fairly hard to build it up.

We'll see.

Quite so. I guess nearly everything is automated, including replying to reporting scammers, so I guess that if the automatic systems don't pick up the scammy accounts, then any reporting of them is just met with an "everything's fine!" response.

The only ones that do seem to get a quick reaction is reports of cloned accounts, which usually disappear within hours, but still probably trough automated systems, rather than human intervention on FB's part.

Funnily enough I too booked a dental visit but I think mine will be cheaper and less painful.

First chilly day so sheltering/working in the cave with the heater on and hot mug of coffee. Don't intend to go outside apart from popping up to the house for a leak every now and then. Mrs. 666 is on dog walking duty thankfully.

tooth done: scan teeth with lidar, grind off top of broken one, scan again, it designs new top for tooth and tells cnc machine to make a new one out of jolly hard stuff, ready in a few mins, glue on, polish, scan, done, in þe olde days it'd take 2-3 visits and a few weeks

now just need the anaesthetic to wear off so i can have a mince pie without biting my tongue off
