Morning folks, one of those annoying days where you get random emails with rubbish suggestions and meeting invites that screw up your diary. Revenge will be had. Decided I CBA to go into town today so hunkered down in the cave with the heating on.

We did that once and many a Cake Fest followed. We even set up a racing team, Team Cake!

Started off with good intentions of a ride, but the cloud cover confounded the 'sunny intervals' forecast, and there's a brisk NNW wind, so I've consoled myself with making spicy pumpkin soup, doing some laundry, and washing the kitchen floor. There's no start to the excitement.

At least I'll get the short ride into town later for after-school lessons, then more excitement with an online committee meeting.

As I'm dosed out with caffeine from my newly-descaled DeLonghi, it'll be hot chocolate next, if anything.

Feeling a bit sore after yesterdays race where I shouldn’t have pushed so hard the week after an ultra and more importantly took my trainers with me. The shoes I borrowed of a random guy were his dog walking shoes with zero grip and an ability to rub your feet raw. Still first fat knacker and 7th overall 😎

Work isn’t fun today and off for a sports massage later

Yes, I fully empathise with Mr Atlas. Mine is still giving me gyp although returned to work today away from the comforting warm embrace of heat pads and the cotton-like cocoon of Tramadol.

Overdid it a bit as there was no cover to be called on. Now back is set back by two days. Bah!

@Pinno718 is not an axe murderer (well, not today) although I did deny him an opportunity to roast my ride by arriving on my commuting hack.
DD1 and her best boyfriend so far (by a country mile) are not splitting up.
