Morning. Currently bored 💩less as production completes production runs, can't start anything so reduced to surfing the web. Remember for next year to finish earlier. Weather is typically British Xmas, wet and windy. Oh well Internet here i come.

Having done 3 weeks with the country's finest mail fulfilment organisation, I can confirm that shanks' pony isn't a bad bet.

Last year I saw mail sorters who couldn't read English including one who, I suspect, wasn't familiar with the Latin alphabet.

Feeling quite chipper for a Monday, Went Christmas shopping yesterday. Bought two presents, lunch and was greeted with a PCN on arrival at the truck.
Apparently it's a pay on arrival car park with a massive sign so I can't really dispute it. And paying early is £7 more expensive than the rate I would have paid for the duration anyway so I'm not wasting my time on it.
Rain has stopped play on most outdoor stuff so I'll be mooching indoors mostly.

Its a touch on damp side here. Pooh sample done and sent off for bowel cancer test. Need to walk Bertie at some point but as it’s forecast to rain all day that will be a wet affair.

Spent about 3 hours awake last night on account of jet lag that has still not naffed off, so woke myself up with a ride into town. Self medicating with coffee for now but not feeling 100%.

Day of meh. Windy. Ticked off a couple of very minor jobs around the place, avoided several more. Feels like a wasted day although I did manage to finally find a replacement seat post for bike #7 - a zero setback version instead of the 20mm one it came with.

Try and avoid a repeat tomorrow, and actually get some stuff done.

You should send a sample from Bertie to see if they can tell the difference.

Ha! Way back after my bone marrow transplant, I used to get weekly tests and swabs fortnightly. It was a bit of a grind and in a moment of boredom, I took a nasal swab from my Spaniel. 5 days later, I got a not too friendly phone call from my Haematologist saying that the swab alone costs £400. But he did see the funny side.

Afternoon. Another bed/housebound day 😞.
I keep telling my bowels there is nothing left to give, and my hunger pangs are fighting the warlords of nausea. And here I am stuck roughly in the middle with lethargy and bad tastes in my mouth. Blah! Might start to fit in those trousers I tried on last week. Every cloud eh?
