More cycling clothes, than normal clothes ?

I have quite a lot of cycling gear, but can't resist buying more if I like it and the price is right.

Used to live in Manchester. No car but obviously use buses etc. Now live in Lincolnshire one bus a week and I only use it roughly every 3 or 4 weeks. Cycle to pubs even used to cycle to Rugby 20+ miles (not very practical). Do a bit of walking but why do I need going out clothes? Found someone same size as me he now has a new wardrobe. It was all made worse by a daughter being a buyer for various clothing firms. "You need to be more fashionable"...WHY. I have even banned anyone buying me waterproof jackets....how many do I need? Even started selling clothes on eBay which I had bought second hand on eBay in the first place. Without checking I have about 8 waterproof jackets. So yes I am in the same boat....including a musto jacket.

PS I have a 5 rugby tour shirts. Cannot give them away...."why would I want Skegness tour of Rome 2011" "please take it hate throwing things away"

I,m heading towards more cycling clothes than anything else,. i find it so hard to resist.

Had to resist buying more in Aldi last Thursday as I *really* don't need any more.
Gear for winter, summer in both road bike and stuff I'd wear to the shops. Ditto running gear. But then who doesn't have winter and summer normal clothing?
Cycling gear also gets washed a lot more, so do need more of it. Barring stains/spillages I'll wear jeans for 2/3 days. Pair of cycle tights get used once.

Oh dear. I hadn't really thought about it till I saw this thread. I have 1 suit for formal occasion things and a couple of white shirts to go with it, a couple of pairs of jeans and a few assorted tee shirts/tops and a tidy pair of jeans with matched shirt for some volunteering work I do. But my walk-in wardrobe is full and my wife is insisting that I need to make some space in it. Cycling tops/jerseys/jackets/gilets acquired in various sales and for most types of weather, leggings and shorts, a couple of waterproof jackets. Drawers full of gloves/caps/socks/mitts and some more spare shirts (not yet unwrapped), overshoes spare shoes ... The list goes on...

And I've just seen the new audax tops so .....

Do I have a problem?

I've kind of given up on wearing "normal clothes" such as shirts jumpers jeans shoes jackets etc.I have wardrobes full of the things but hardly wear them. For the last three years the only clothes i've bought have been cycling jerseys cycling winter jackets (or jackets that can be worn on or off bike) cycling shorts and cycling shoes. I'm not quite there yet but soon the cycling stuff will be in the majority.
