More social media woes…

I wrote a few months back (it’s somewhere in the CC Café) about having my personal data hacked on fb some 9-10 years ago.

I got talked into joining Twitter three days ago while on holiday as a means of sharing the big travel project I’m doing at the moment.

The following morning, Tuesday 27th, over breakfast in a very nice Vilnius hotel, thus it was that I created a Twitter account.
The only identifier that could possibly connect it to me was the ‘phone number they request upon sign up.

Lo and behold if the account wasn’t hacked in less than 24 hours.

I hadn’t even posted anything.

Just what is it with social media?

Jack Dorsey, rather than Mark Zuckerberg, as I don't think Twitter is owned by Facebook.
