Our local supermarket is a medium sized Morrisons. A visit there is akin to sticking pins in your eyes. I actually prefer to take the hit of a 9 mile drive each way to Tesco (yes, that's how bad Morrisons is) for my food shopping.
Morrisons = low range of products, queuing for ages to checkout even when the shop is quiet, paying over the odds, and getting your fruit/veg home to discover it has been used as a football at some point. Horrible place.

One very good thing about the Morrisons round here (I suspect this is true of everywhere else) is the truly excellent variety of fruit and vegetables. As this is what tends to greet you on entering the store, expectations will be high but aren't maintained. OK, it's not Waitrose but the in-store bakery tends to be very good and the booze section is well spec-ed. Ready-meals though and the butchers sections are, in my opinion, not very good.
