Those male who chatting up a female cyclist whilst cycling in parallel in an already narrow cycle lane for a prolonged period.

They are really annoying as I cant see the front! They seems to do it regardless day or night.

never seen that one myself personally, but here's a radical suggestion, try calling 'Excuse me please, coming through' as you roll up behind them

If I find myself behind anyone chatting anyone up, on bikes or off, as long as they both seem to be enjoying it, it makes me happy - OK, and maybe a bit wistful, but - basically an all's right with the world feeling. Even if we're all going to hell in a handcart, some things in life are still new to some people, and lovely, and long may it continue, I say!
Hey WeeE you're quite the romantic at heart.:biggrin::smile::biggrin:

PS I agree with you.

Quite amazed he hasn't learnt to blind-text yet then?

He can, sort of, but still looks at his phone all the time. The other day I passed him in the car as he walked home, in the rain, looking down at his phone and wearing just his blazer. £60 rain jacket in his bag obviously! :0(

Why are teenagers such morons?

No 2: Cyclist with no light

No 3: Cyclist who uses his mobile whilst cycling with one hand only.

I think you have a hate problem. Lighten up a little.

I just don't like unpleasant individuals, not unlike the owner of Velorution.
You get them in all walks of life, and the best thing is to simply ignore them and warn others if necessary.

Can't even bring myself to walk and phone. Am i hopelessly old-fashioned or is there something inherently pillockish about walking along the street having a conversation with an invisible person?
Even worse is those people with bluetooth headset on while they are walking about. I don't know what is worse, someone wandering about talking out loud to themselves, or wandering about talking out loud on a bluetooth headset....

Oh and to stay on topic, those cyclists who go faster than me.

So I hate you all! ;)

At least he was walking, not sat in a car on the school run. (Thats not meant as a criticism of you being in one, btw)

My lad hates going to school in the car and would rather walk across the park in any type of weather than get a lift.

I doubt you can hate me, not on those grounds. I'm still working on raising my average speed from walking speed to labouring pathetically; achieve pootling on a good day.;)

This is rather a weird thing to isolate as something that annoys.

The real annoyance in life is THE cyclist who overtakes you!

right, I 'll let you lot get on with the dead debate of using mobiles on bikes....snooze button

My wife will pick them up at the drop of a hat but I try to nag her into letting them walk as often as possible. It's just about the only exercise they get.

OT - but its not just the exercise, its a social meet-up on the journey with school mates and he can't do anything but arrive awake, which is something of an achievement.
