Most miles in a day

196 miles. Last year on the Speedy FNRttC to Harwich and the SMRbtH.
The return was one of the hardest rides I have ever done due to the monstrous relentless headwind. But cycling back with a few CycleChat heavyweights in Aperitif, ZigZag and Martint235 made things a slightly bit easier.
I was well peeved that I hadn't broken the 200 miler mark. My gps buggered up so had to guess. It was also starting to pee down with rain. I had planned a few extra miles just in case but decided to go straight home. Working the distance out on bikehike after confirmed I hadn't done the 200.

80 for me, although on the Way of the Roses later this month I'm hoping that one of the days will be over 100. If not, the Richmond 100 sportive a week later should do it.

82 miles...cant see me having the time, energy or inclination to do that again. I'd love to, thoroughly enjoyed the achievement, but times and commitments are different now
