MOT result, advisories etc. Help needed to find the information

As stated above, I have problems searching the MOT history of certain cars. Not just certain cars, but all cars as I just can't find essential MOT information no matter how I try. When I say help needed, I don't mean a lecture on how to do it, more I'd like fellow CCers to look at provided links to cars and post their findings, both good or bad. I have my eye on two cars. I'd like to know if they are worth buying or ones to avoid. have a decent MOT history, as in no serious rust or mechanical problems and anything else that makes a car one to avoid.

If you go to this website https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ and enter the registration you can see all the details.

The first car has passed all MOTs first time with no advisories.

The second car has a couple of fails for things like a corroded spring, shock leaking oil, faulty headlights and wipers.

Our Ka has advisories but they are only minor and the garage said it’s fit to drive and MOT issued. If it’s dangerous they wouldn't pass it. They did explain what it was, rusty springs.

How are you searching for this? There is the official government site and there's also an app that will give you all you need.

Both different ends of the market. Pretty decent Aygo, and springs etc/dampers aren't expensive, but I would get someone to look underneath.

I think it looks quite a decent car. I've noticed quite a few of that year or the next year going for the same around 2.5 grand price.

It does look a good car. Aygo’s are pretty basic but that’s not a bad thing, so much less to understand and go wrong, great Toyota reliability too.

I’m sure you have, but just in case you haven’t noticed, it does have some slightly scuffing to the paintwork;

Yes, on enlarging the photo I saw it and it's not that bad at all. A few swipes of my white nail varnish would cover that. Why do I have white nail varnish you may wonder. Well, I've had a bottle since I bought my off white Fiat 500 4 years ago to cover up small dents and marks. 😉

I just need a car for short shopping trips, visits to nearby towns etc. I think this car would do that job very well.
