Motorbikes in bus lanes -Birmingham development

I'm a scooterist as well as a cyclist. It's the yoof on 'peds that scare me - be extra wary of the ones who ride with their feet back on the passenger pegs - "cos it's like a superbike innit"

and extra extra wary if:

Their only concession to safety is a helmet (often perched on the back of the head)

They are wearing white Reebok trainers and/or a grey tracksuit/hoody

The 'ped is a Gilera Runner or a Gilera DNA.

Had more than one near miss with these oiks, on my bicycle or scoot. And they seem to be in every corner of the country.

I worry about them yoofs too - they seem well underpowered despite the angry beehive they carry and unable to accelerate out of danger as a real motorcyclist has to do far too often.

I cycle more than I bike but doing both I am happy to welcome my other two wheeled friends away lethal four wheeled danger - even at a modest annoyance to myself.

The bus lanes down Hagley Road haven't been changed (yet).

Use my bike or motorbike regularly in Edinburgh and often chat to cyclists/bikers at lights etc - never had any problems with either fraternity.

They've been motorbike/bicycle shared in Bristol for years, and have never casued me a problem when on either.
