Is it not possible for threads of this nature to end up with bitching and sniping between people. The bloke went out for a bike ride and has died someone will be at fault or partial fault. The truth will come out in the end it always does.

I am the only one that finds this sort of thing (along with "they must have a wonderful choir in heaven" every time a musician dies) deeply offensive?

VR46 would be Valentino Rossi, and the picture depicts two of his close friends.
Marco Simoncelli and Nicky Hayden, both taken from us in unfortunate accidents.
I like the picture and what it represents to Rossi.

Both men depicted were racers who spent their whole life working towards and ulitimately racing with the best riders in the world. One of which is Valentino Rossi who was a close friend to both of them. If that's how he wants to remember people who he knew then it is not for us to take offence.
