I see RB have had to retract Helmut's accusation that Antionelli had "waved" Morris through. Sadly Helmut has support from the nkw powerful European camp in RB so I doubt he'll face any internal sanction.

Verstappen's race engineer made much the same claim during the race.
Then how he, Antonelli, actually lost the time was shown.

I read that as "seriously naked"

which was confusing and caused several questions to occur to me which I will not mention!

Hopefully the great regulation reset will help Hadjar to be a competitive team mate to Max and not another notch on Helmut’s bedpost.

The current car is, allegedly, very fast and dynamic on paper but on the track the feedback it gives is apparently very bizarre, so while its quick its very difficult for drivers to get it to behave as expected.

You'd like to think they wouldn't make the same mistake twice, but they keep Helmut there year after year so clearly like repeating the same balls up.

Still, as you say, the big reset next year and itll be very interesting to see the constructors and engine manufacturers different approaches and how the drivers adapt to the different demands of electrical energy management.

Word is that Mercedes have a strong engine for next year. They did the same when it went hybrid and came up with the through-engine turbo design that gave them a packaging edge early on.

Strategic leaks, mind games. We won't really know where they stand until we get a benchmark against one another on the track.

That said, Murdedes have good recent form.

I just hope Ossar doesnt lose it by 3 points or less. That'd be a real kick in the plums for him which hed have to suck up all the way through nest season.
