Uh oh... Plato Racing has gone into administration.

Now did they spend beyond their means, or did a sponsor not pony up. Either way, motor racing has financial sleights-of hand in the same way that a fruit cake has raisins.

Will the team even be at Donington this weekend?

It all depends on what you read and where you read it .

It seems a shame as his team have had some good results especially in its first year.

Well this weekends GP was interesting and marked the start of the second half of the season.

Good result for McLaren and Norris

Lewis was well I am not sure what the word is but he was vocal

The race turned out better than I expected given the bore fest of the sprint race.

Ferrari seemed to return to form over strategic calls.

Hmmph, those of us of a more cynical disposition are sort of smelling a Rosberg over at Mercedes.

OTOH, the BTCC action from Croft was good. Such a shame Ting had a stinker. And Sutton, even when things go pear shaped (race 3) he comes out smelling of roses, cos neither Ting nor Dan Cam scored any points. Unless Ash saws his leg off accidentally between now and Silverstone, think the BTCC title is as good as won.

what one driver absolutely aces what they need to do with their ability and the package they have and the other one just throws a strop about it constantly

look if you start 2nd in the race, and your teammate in the same car starts down in 19th, and then still beats you at Monza... thats on you, thats not the car, thats not the team favouring anyone, and you can moan about VSCs, and pitstops and all that, but you clearly just werent doing the lap times you needed to, when it mattered, and they did.

Although to be fair to George, in the post race interview he was magnanimous - I expected some more barbed comments.
