i'm assuming somebody on here has climbed snowdon? how did you get there, i.e closest station? how long did it take you?
i want to go and have a crack and would want to get a train from london to the closest point to snowdon.
any advice would be very much appreciated.

Going up this MTN is a very special experience.

Those that don't think its anyhting special usually end up the better side of dead!

If its mountains you seek, not slight inclines that are rarely noticed by the travelling public, then Scotland is the place to be..:thumbsup::smile:

I think the Alps might have braggibg rights over Scotland;)

The problem is redders that you live on the Moray Firth which is flat. No one is going to take you seriously until you move to a hut on Cairngorm.
