Mountain bikers are just bigger and hairier and have no interest in various performance stats but are strangely drawn to lycra in private.

I do both as I do not scare easily but draw the line at shaving my legs......

Urban walk:rolleyes:.
You really need to get out a bit more., ie out further, rather than out more often.

Sorry for abandoning my thread, had to finish something while there was still daylight.
Soooo:
Does @Mad Doug Biker ride a mountain bike? :smooch:
His sexiness does not need further enhancement ^_^
Surely this should be a poll?
Nay, I made up my mind before posting, do you think I'm @Accy cyclist?
Rubbish, Brompton riders are the sexiest.
Erm, nothing more off putting than a handsome man on a wee bike ... imho of course.
Ahh thanks Pat not that i am a particularly successful MTBer, 1st time out a Cathkin a few weeks ago and came off and done my wrist, off the bikes until october at least
Oh, sorry to hear that: I read a while back that you were injured on "your ride today", but did not want to ask details :hugs:

What if you've got one but you don't use it anymore?
Then you're past it
There is nothing sexy about not using it anymore.
Well said that man!
You simply have never met a middle aged recumbent rider with an "aero belly", beard, sandals and socks
I am sure I have met @Scoosh several times ...
What if you are a roadie who also mountain bikes?
You're sexy only when on the MB

Yes, I need to take up hillwalking, to see more MBikers
Hot sweaty muddy shabby dressed cyclists who also don't wave at other cyclists.
If it was an urban walk, then you didn't see any proper mountain bikers, they would have been in the hills. You just saw some wannabes who can't manage to ride safely on skinny tyres.
I live only a few miles away from the Commonwealth Games mountain bike track, the very same @MiK1138 above injured himself on.

Basically I took a walk to the shops, saw this awesome, all muscles, big fat muddy tyres, firmly in primary at the temporary light that give me the palpitations on the commute, unfazed at the queue of cars behind him, no helmet (no debate please, it's just to add to the image) and was gonna ask him if his bike would like to meet mine :smooch:

welsh dragon

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Pat had actually left her reading specs on and it was a skinny guy on a roadbike

This is all.

Their bikes are sexier too
My Pace Research RC100 used to be (sexier), especially when it was a warm MTB race, & I wore a skin-suit

This was back in the early 90's, but I did wear a skin-suit again, for a Cyclo-Cross last year (first one for 6 years or so)
I didn't have a proper Club skin suit at that time, just one from been-bag, or someone similar
Both images are possibly 1992?
