Vespa riders are sexiest.

But only if they have a manual clutch.

I remember them having super soft compounds .
Too soft for my trails, which is why I stuck with the Smoke/Dart combo
Skinny (1.7"?) Smokes on my Pace, way back when (even pre SPDs, for me!!)
With my (near) namesake, who I still see at fell-races
He runs with/for Bingley Harriers (Rob Jebb, & the Brownlee brothers club)

Plus, Dave Hemmings, on white Porcupines in the background

Do you remember the Onza Octopus?

I know what big brother is and I have lived a far from shelttered life. Your quip was very poor but thanks for ths input

Thank you, now I understand, you didn't like my post. Why couldn't you have just said that in the first place instead of being deliberately obtuse and pretending you couldn't see the connection? Never mind, there's nowt queer as folk as they say.

Because I genuinely couldn't see the connection as it was a very poor quip and had nothing to do with not liking your post. Read into it however your want. The only person being obtuse here is yourself! Anyway, thanks again for the input!

Edit: and sorry for derailing the thread @Pat "5mph"

I remember the name ,if not the actual tyre as I don't remember anyone running them .
Were they not even softer ?
I fattened up my smoke/darts with a humongous 1.95 width :laugh::becool:

I rode smoke/dart combo for years. My first MTB was a Saracen Tufftrax pre-suspension days and came with a pair of Tioga Farmer Johns.

Only suspension I've ever had is a flex stem

Still got this frame but currently not road/trail worthy

Farmer Johns!?
They were seriously heavy tyres, like they'd been lifted off a John Deere (even though John Tomac advertised them)

Flex-Stems?, yes I remember those, & trying them
I also remember Pro-Flexes bikes, with the elastomer rear-suspension (the 840??)

"Phwoarrr! check who's riding that sick whip" said no one ever, and yes I ride a Brompton.
I saw a sexy man on a Brompton ... once :hugs:
I think we're moving away from Pat's fantasies to everyone else's. I think Pat needs a muscly mtn biker to encourage her to engage her granny ring.
(well Fnaars away)
'ts all right, I'm subscribed to GMBN

agreed apologies not meaning to derail so i shall now abstain
By all means do not abstain, I am enjoying the bike pictures you are posting!
All I can say is you must be living a very sheltered life. Try googling "sex on Big Brother".
:stop:
