Last November my best friend took part in movember, I sponsored him, and he raised a bit of cash. He never told any one at the time he was feeling a bit Tom and Dick then. In January this year we all found out he was seriously ill, in April he was gone. Bit of a facer that, but anything anyone can do to raise a bit of cash for these charities has got to be worth while.

EDIT: I meant to add that he would have been 55 this coming November 3rd.

All going well there should be at least 30 of us across our 4 shifts taking part. With a fund raising evening and shave off at the end of the month. Hopefully we will raise a few quid for a worthy cause.

Mrs AF isn't to happy about the Tash, so all the more reason to do it!

If I grow a tache, I look like someone out of Brookside, in the 1980s.

I've been trying to get Mr Plax to grow some kind of facial hair for my amusement for years, but he always refuses. Sometimes he humours me with long side burns and that's about it. So I was very surprised to hear him say that he has agreed to take part in Movember at work this year. Naturally I'm very excited by this prospect and have suggested he start off with aiming for a full beard and then we can decide what kind of moustache he should have. I think one like Hulk Hogan combined with flared sideburns would be wicked ^_^
