Krister Hendrikson isn't the fat one is he?

If not, I actually prefer him as Wallender. I'm not so keen on the tubby one. ^_^

Krister is the slightly odd looking guy in the original Swedish ones for TV. He always seemed too gentle somehow and I could never imagine him getting into the situations in the books, although he's still my favourite by a country mile precisely because he doesn't let it get too gritty, and becuase you watch him strike up a relationship with Jussi (pronounced Yoo-see), his dog.

There is a fat blonde Swedish guy who also does some films, but I don't like him.

Oh and it's WALLANDER! (Pronounced Va-lander for those who still don't know).

Right: John Thaw as Morse

So is Ray Winstone going to be good at Thaw's other famous cop part, as DI Regan in the remake of the Sweeney ?
I just can't see him sliding across the bonnet of a Ford Capri have taken the doors off the Jag as it raced through the east London docklands

(Maybe they'll change the cars and the locations for the film, the docklands aren't the sort of place you do car chases any more)

I don't know, but he does seem a bit too bulky these days.

Now it would be a chase on the DLR and then the Cablecar!

'Hey Guv, you can see the Excel from here!'

'Never mind that, just make sure you've got your bleedin' oyster card ready!'

Another defence of Nick Cage - he's great as Sailor in Wild at Heart.

Wrong: Madonna in anything at all, with the one exception of "Evita".

She's put in some decent performances in supporting roles - Desperately Seeking Susan and A League of their own.

She is though reliably awful in leading roles - bit difficult to say which is the bigger turkey of Body of Evidence and Swept Away.

Brilliant, then onto a Boris bike to the Thames Clipper (Follow that boat), a blast up the river (get in the classic stock shots), before Regan gets his man for Oyster card evasion, 'You're Nicked sunshine"
The film will be a classic, a classic what I'm not sure, but a classic never the less.

Right: (TV, though) Sean Bean as Sharpe, Derek Jacobi as Cadfael

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong (as mentioned above), Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher. I, too, will not be bothering to watch the film.

Life and loves of a she-devil:
Right - Julie T Wallace in the TV series
Wrong, wrong - Rosanne Barr in the film (so off-putting I didn't bother with the film - so am I misjudging?)

Wrong, but it kind of worked - Kevin Costner as Robin Hood.

I'd say that one only worked because of:

Right - Alan Rickman as the Sheriff of Nottingham

Not seen "Leaving Las Vegas" or "Wild at Heart"; but, every thing else I've seen him in, his acting has matched that of a section of 4 x2 its always made me wonder; Who originally told him he could act? Why do people believe he can act? why is he still employed?

Wrong - Russell Crowe in Master and Commander. He is nothing like Jack Aubrey, and he can't do accents.
Right - Jack Nicholas in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest.
