My Mum lives in Downton - I expect she'll be on the phone about this later worrying about me.

What a shock for the lad's family though, I can't imagine what it must be like to lose your child.

That's the chap. Sorry about the dud link, it looks like they moved the article as I made a point of testing the original.

I pulled up at the 'not injured' line as well.

At first reading I thought it was an accident on the A36, which wouldn't surprise me as that's an evil bit of road for cyclists. But it appears that this occurred off-road.

You'll find that "the ????? driver was not injured" is pretty much standard in all bike/motor vehicle collision reports

That's what makes it so bad. This lad was CRUSHED to death, and the Beeb thought it neccessary to reassure us that the tractor driver got away with no injury.
