MTB - marathon (i think) 13th sept cumbria

The MTB event was today.

On Sat I road the Gore Road sportive (same place) which was also extremely hard work!

I managed to full 100km of the Merida so i'm really chuffed!

well done man ! i did the 50 mile ride, which even my experienced cycling mates told me was hard (and they did the hartside pass part too!)
its a great feeling when you realise what youve done though.

hats off to anyone who did the longer ride / hartside pass - we drove back over it to go home and the thought of cycling it scared the crap out of me frankly. i will do it, oh yes......

PS:
can anyone tell me wether theres photos available to view anywhere ? there was a photographer up on that moor, he captured me grimacing and sweating as i climbed very slowly, belly and all !

i lost a banana somewhere along the way too, so if anyone picked it up i'll give you my address if you wouldnt mind posting it too me.
