Mudguard Clearance - help please

Hi again all,

Just looking at some full SKS mudguards for my commuter. I'm a little worried about brake clearance, attached is a photo of my rear brake. I'm wondering if the narrow 35mm guards will fit under the brakes?

PS, I run a 25mm tyre.

Simple hacksaw, dear lady...... easy..........

I've got some beef cake wire cutters or a Dremel if needs be .

I don't understand the fuss over cutting mudguard stays. There was another thread recently devoted to it. Please someone explain to me what is the problem. I have fitted dozens of the things without thinking about it!
