Not sure whether you can use proper fixed mudguards with a suspension fork. You'd be best to ask your LBS what they recommend and to fit them

Should be ok on the back assuming your bike has mounting points

Okay how about this for the front:

and the rear Giant or ETC one for the rear?

Thanks.
Check with your bike shop. Seems silly to buy a pair of mudguards when only one might fit. I'd probably get two clip on type for a suspension hybrid. Especially as presumably you ride it off road and thus get lots of muck on the bike which can get clogged and dangerous if there's little clearance as there would be with a 40mm tyre and a guard that takes max 45

I'm also concerned that there will be insufficient clearance with the mudguards fitting which will prevent me using the storage stands I use:

This looks compatible:

They look easy enough for me to fit myself.

No, I don't think that will work. You need a hole passing front to back through the base of your steerer tube to bolt the front mudguard to, and looking at the picture you've posted above you don't seem to have one.

Suggest visiting your local Giant LBS as others have advised. Mudguards can be a pain to fit and if you don't get it right it will only drive you nuts
