Mudguards

Hi any Specialized Sectuer Sport owners.

Has anybody got mudguards fitted, if so, what would you recommend?.

Was looking at the Crud Roadracer Mk2. Would these fit ok?. I have 700*25 tyres fitted as standard.

I have been looking at these myself for my Planet-X SL, but can't find that 'guarantee it will fit' quote.

I have the crudcatcher mk2 version fitted to my sectuer with 700 marathon+ 25 tyres. There a bit fiddley to get right but it can be done.

I have these on my Secteur Sport with Conti Gatorskins ( haven't yet tried with my latest Tyres which are Michelin Krylion Carbons). The Cruds will fit but the clearances are very tight such that they will often lightly rub which doesn't noticeably slow the wheel but they can be noisy. I Leave the front lip off mine as it fouls the front brake caliper.

I put up with it though as they transform winter riding by keeping you very dry on wet roads.
