This evening my mother had gone to the train station to pick up my father. My mum was sitting in the car whilst my dad was putting his bags in the boot. My dad then got into the car.
I think they were waiting for a woman in a VW Golf behind to pull out, and then they were going to go. But the woman must have gone into my mum because she said there was a certain jolt.
My mum got out to inspect the damage and she claimed that the woman immediately came up to her face and started argueing with her. Because of this prominant sign of agression, my dad called the police just so things do not get out of hand. My dad tried to get the details of the driver but he suspects the woman was not insured*. The woman claimed that my dad was in the way of my mums lights when in fact he was sitting in the car when the woman went into my mum.
In the end the police got everyones details and we are going to wash the car tomorrow to see what the damage is (will be nothing major).

*My dad explained that the woman was picking up her son from the station and that the car was probably her son's and that she decided to drive it because the son had had something to drink.

The situation is going to be solved but as the car has some scratches on it already (like all cars) it will be difficult to see exactly what damage the woman has caused.

Hi Matthew

We've moved a few of your posts from General Cycling into other areas of the forum in the past.

Please bear in mind which part of the forum your topic is most suitable for and post in that area of the forum rather than General Cycling. We'll move this into Cafe for you as it's more appropriate for that part of the forum. Please give your topic locations some thought in the future please.

Thanks

Which tells me there's no damage. So if that's the case. Stop wasting everybody's time inc. the Police and get on with your lives.

Grounds for yet another insurance claim?

That or there's a family curse.

Your Mum should have nutted her and driven away sharpish with the lights off to obscure number plate recognition. That's what I usually do anyway.
