My friend has a beagle. It appears to be completely untrainable but that may have to do with the fact he is rubbish training dogs.

No, my son has a Beagle too. Absolutely lunatic, the dog that is.
She is either asleep or like a crack addict after the next fix. Excitable in the extreme.

My dog loves her to bits.
