My right big toe has just broken through my slipper. It may have actually broken through yesterday but today I've got white socks as opposed to black ones yesterday so I've definitely noticed it now. You know when you've had a tooth out and you can't help feeling the new gap with your tongue? Toe hole in slippers, same thing. (Not with my tongue you fools, my toe)

I discovered today that as far as Aquafresh are concerned, the bottle cap that you fill with mouthwash is not in fact a bottlecap, but is in fact "the iconic Nurdle device"{go on,nip up to the bathroom and have a look].Tells you something about the reading matter in our loo!^_^

I'm annoyed with myself, I fell asleep in front of the TV tonight and ended up getting nothing done.

Aldi tinned cassoulet has exactly the same effect on the digestive system and surrounding air as freshly made by a cook in France cassoulet or indeed its English equivalent, tinned baked beans and sausages.

In the kitchen there is a dresser. In that dresser there is a cupboard. In that cupboard there are any number of plastic freezer containers. Also in that cupboard there are any number of freezer container lids.
Exactly how how long does it take to find a lid that fits the container that you have already put last nights leftover stirfry in given that there are probably more lids than containers? When do you suspect you might have picked the one container in the entire cupboard for which the lid is missing? After how long is it OK to give up trying to find 'the one' and to simply put clingfilm on top of the container instead? (Answer: about three minutes actually..)

I had one of them a couple of days ago. Nice, but a warm day for a winter dish.
