Actually I've just this minute finished turning the 'ice' bike back into a 'bike' bike, cycle commute this lunchtime coming up

I've been removing the spiked tyres too.... I'm turning it into a pretend mountain bike for the weekend. Did you know.... You should undo the brake calliper befor trying to remove the wheel somehow I knew when I removed the front one and then spent ages before calling in my handy mechanic (Mr Summerdays), to diagnose the problem.....

This is the spare bike.... The good one has disk brakes.... If I enjoy this weekend then maybe I will think about a new bike.... But at the moment I'm just nervous that I'm going to get up a big hill then find the descent is so steep or rocky that I can't make it down again..... Or that I'll really slow my mates down.....

Dropped the car off for MOT and service this morning, now sat in the cafe at Hatton Locks with a black coffee and a scrambled egg on toast.

My mate did that last week, and it snowed heavily on Friday. Any more snow, and I blame you !

Found TVC a Manchester retreat on the way into work, probably get it for 5k if he haggles
