Shortly after removing some of my clothing today, a young lady paid me a compliment.
"Oh you have a fantastic vein!"
She was a phlebotomist at Charing Cross Hospital and was taking a blood sample. I felt quite elated.

They always do my left arm, on the inside of the elbow joint, and they've had about twenty five stabs at it over the last four years. I had to remove my cycling jacket and a fleece, that's all. I wasn't totally uninhibited.

Gwen was playing with a pencil earlier. Probably trying to write a letter of complaint to the manufacturer of her food. I rolled up a ball of aluminium foil and she has been demonstrating her hunting skills.
