In my yoga class I'm the only fella among half a dozen women. Mind you in this mornings class we attempted something I can't do, Eagle Pose.

I'd be on the floor trying that.

This is the one I've been supposed to practice for back extensions. I can't get even a fifth of that. Too painful.

Now you see the pilates version is much gentler as you don't rise half as much in the first stage.

From behind St George's church. On the left-hand side of the square just round the corner, Appelmarkt, there is a far better bar. It might not look as nice from the outside but the beer is better. On the Lieve Vrouw Plein is Marktzicht, which has a 20-page or so beer menu.

We went out and bought my wife a cheap ladies cycle today so that we can both cycle out to the pub and freewheel back. My wife cycled around the path outside our houses earlier, I think she'll need a bit more practice before we venture out.

I had to water the plant tubs in the front garden this evening. They never seem to get the benefit of any rain showers, being in the lee of the gables.

I've just got in from being out, I have been cleaning my mountain bike after a very muddy 15 mile ride.

I am now having custard tart with fresh strawberries and cream. I know! Custard tart and strawberries....dirty bastard.
