Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
We need to returnWe weren't there long enough to do more. Mr Hop wasn't drinking and I only had a couple. Me and @Hill Wimp made a much better job of it last year![]()

A small glass of brandy may just become a large one listening to this debate on TV
I'd be on the floor trying that.
This is the one I've been supposed to practice for back extensions. I can't get even a fifth of that. Too painful.

Yes I got nowhere with it, I'm too bulky round the solders and chest, I couldn't get near the arm position, I also can't stand on one leg for very long. Your sphinx is our cobra.
Remember what the doctor said thoughI'd be on the floor trying that.

Back from the consultant. Fortunately I have a good spine, and no degeneration that one would typically expect at my age of 46 (he was the same age and said he'd be happy if he had a back as good as mine).
He is happy with the healing and the 10 degrees of kyphosis (spine tilt) isn't 'normal' but it's within tolerances and shouldn't give me much bother when older. I will most likely still get twinges and pain for the rest of my life, but he has said I can exercise properly without worrying too much about pain being an indicator of something wrong. Pop some pain killers and don't do too much was his answer !
Oh, I nearly forgot to mention... My Garmin is nearly fully charged.
I think get 15 hours riding with my 705. Once I've uploaded a ride, I just leave it plugged into the laptop for a while to keep it fully charged. The batteries in my Etrex last months.
I've no idea what it's called ! I know it as a spinal extension, which I can't do. Just back, I'm not the most useless in the class. About 10, of mixed ages and there was one other fella, phew. New folk too, and most have various joint problems.
