This is my cunning plan.....my great grandfather was Scottish. When we leave the EU and Scotland becomes independent, we are going to live north of the border and get Scottish citizenship so we can be European again. Simple plan, what could possibly go wrong?

My grandfather was Scottish so I'm alright too

Ach by all accounts he was a miserable bugger though (Calvinist) but he was the 'Union Man' for Enderby Quarry (where they made Kerbstones and stone 'Sets' (cobblestones to you and me) by hand. He was also one of the founders of the Labour Party and was on the 'National Executive Committee'.

My family have moved 3 miles on both parents side in 400 years. I am as English as you can be, in fact I moved 7 miles from my home village and that makes me adventurous!

I felt like that when I moved (from Enderby/Narborough) in to the big city (Leicester) in 1985.

Best thing I ever did, when I go back it is still the same old faces talking about the same old things.

I was born in NI, as were my parents, grandparents ....keep going.... So I can get an Irish passport and my brother in law is already talking of getting dual nationality for his kids!
